Job Opportunity : HSS Manager |
HSS Manager Cameroon
Job Description
Cameroon is compounded by three conflict-related humanitarian crises: in addition, COVID-19 has exacerbated the situation in-country. Incursions by Armed Organized Groups (AOGs) in the Far North Region continue to cause devastations and subsequently, 1.2 million people living in the region are in urgent need of assistance. Cameroon’s Eastern regions are still home to over 280,000 vulnerable refugees from the Central African Republic and the third crisis is the on-going violence in the two English-speaking regions of North-west and South-west where 680,000 Cameroonians are now internally displaced due to this crisis and an additional 58,000 persons have sought refuge in neighbouring Nigeria.
The Corona Virus pandemic has exacerbated the needs in-country. The Cameroon HRP estimates 6.2 million people that are in need of humanitarian assistance in 2020.
