Find innovative solutions to help young people get closer to the job market and integrate into professional life.

Objective of the challenge

Cameroon Desk through the CD Innovation Challenge invites young people to present in a video of 2 to 4 minutes proposals for innovative solutions to let young people to get closer to the job market and to integrate into professional life.

The proposed solutions can be of all types; solutions via means of communication, solutions using new information and communication technologies (ICTs), field solutions and many others...

Eligibility

• Anyone from 17 to 30 years old.
• Be African

Female applications are encouraged.

Expected deliverable 

• A video presentation in the format of your choice (Face camera, animation, etc.).
• You can also add a description of 3 pages maximum in PDF or PowerPoint (optional).

Video criteria

• Duration: 2 to 4 minutes maximum
• Language used in the video: English or French

Content of your video

1. You introduce yourself: Name, what are you currently doing (if you are a student, specify your school / university, level of study and field ...)
2. You answer the question "What is Cameroon Desk?" And tell us what you think of Cameroon Desk.
3. You present your idea (or your ideas if you have more than one) of innovative solutions to help young people get closer to the job market and integrate into professional life.

• Cash price: 30 000 FCFA
• Integration with the Cameroon Desk team to work with the Cameroon Desk team and develop your solution

2nd Prize

• Cash price: 20 000 FCFA
• Integration with the Cameroon Desk team to work with the Cameroon Desk team and develop your solution.

• Cash price: 15 000 FCFA
• Certificate

How to participate in the Challenge

We recommend that you take some time to prepare and produce your video.

Once your video is ready, come back to this page and click the button below to submit your video.

NB: All the videos of the challenge will be posted on the Cameroon Desk YouTube channel for wide visibility.

Participants are drawn to the fact that video visibility (Number of YouTube views on your video) is a rating criteria.

Thus, we recommend participants to massively share their videos (posted on YouTube) for better visibility.

Once you have sent your video via the button above, we will upload it to YouTube within 24 hours and send you the link to the YouTube video. You must therefore share this YouTube link of your video massively in your networks so that your video can get more visibility.

Selection criteria for winners

The scoring criteria are as follows:

• Relevance and originality: 40%
• Feasibility: 35%
• Visibility of your video: 25%
