Union Bank of Cameroon Plc is presently in search of a Branch Manager for one of its Branches in Cameroon. Opprotunity is open for external candidates.

Job purpose: Build and maintain relationships with existing customers enhancing branch accountability and performance.

Job Title: BRANCH MANAGER

Category: (To be determined based on background and expérience)

Reporting line: Head, consumer Retail Banking

Principal Responsibilities (key tasks)

• Managers and supervisors branch employees, responsible for day-to-day supervision     and leadership
• Create strategies to grow business opportunities within their branch.
• Bild new customer relationships
• Retain existing customers
• Ensure customer's financial needs  are met.
• Develope and monitor branch sales strategies.
• Manage and monitor loan portofolio of branch clients.
• Recommand training, mentor and guide all staff to function efficiently and professionally.
• Prepare operational reports of his/her branch for the head office as appropriate etc.

Key Performance indicators

• Deposit Growth
• Revenue generation
• Customer acquisition
• Cross selling (Number of products per customer)
• Quality service

Competence/ Skills:

• Minimum of Master's degree or equivalent in marketing finance, management, or other related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years exposure as Branch Manager in a bank
• Knowledge of banking internal process and policies. A good understanding of the financial Service sector
• Fully bilingual: French and English, good persuasiveness and sales skills, good knowlege of Cameroon financial markets and regulatory requirements, high level of loyalty, hopnesty and integrity etc.
• Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports.
• Ability to analyse problems and strategie for better solutions.
