Job Opportunity: Freelance language specialist

T&I Language Solution (TILS) is a language solutions company providing quality translation, interpreting and other language services to leading Cameroonian and international companies and organisations.

T&I Language Solutions is currently expanding its database of language experts (all languages) and would be glad to receive your application, if you meet the following requirements:

• Degree in Translation Studies or in a relevant subject
• At least two-year experience as a professional translator, interpreter, proofreader, etc.
• Professional use of CAT tools (e.g. SDL Trados, MemoQ, Wordfast) and experience in managing glossaries, translation memories, and style guides
• Ability to grasp the purpose, audience and tone of different content and to create natural-sounding and user-friendly texts to reflect these
• Very good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Capability to work independently, to be proactive about suggesting ideas and to be adaptable - the unforeseen doesn’t scare you

Would be a plus: experience in subtitling
