Job Role Summary

The General Services Administrator reports to the Facilities Superintendent and has the following responsibilities:

• Coordinate all field logistics service requests such as receipt, verification, timely processing and promote the good use of Logistics tools and processes
• Coordinate the planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance activities such as camp facilities, light vehicles and heavy equipment and Oil Spill Response boats
• Provide daily supervision of various contractors (Camp maintenance, Light vehicles and Heavy Equipment maintenance, projects or any other activities)
• Ensure conformance and compliance with respect to Operating Procedures
• Act as backup of the Douala-based Logistics Coordinator as may be required on weekends, public holidays to ensure flight manifests are printed and dispatched as required

This is a field rotational assignment.

Expected Level of Proficiency

The candidate must have a Higher National Diploma (HND) or Brevet Technicien Superieur (BTS) or equivalent level education with proven work experience of 05 years in Logistics, Industrial/Manufacturing or Oil industry.

• Must be able to speak English and French, with the ability to communicate in English and French over the phone and via email.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Proficiency or knowledge in SAP/IPES is an added advantage
