Description of Opportunity:

Better Breed Cameroon together with several youth-development focused organizations is once again addressing the problem of youth unemployment through a new initiative- the Youth Employability Bootcamp (YEB). The YEB is a month-long intensive program which aims to develop the employability skills of young Cameroonians who have been unsuccessful in securing employment for over a year. The YEB program offers to equip unemployed young people with the necessary career counseling, soft skills, and knowledge of the labor market to increase their chances of securing suitable work and/or jumpstarting their dream careers. The first edition of this program will hold throughout the month of September 2021 in Buea.

APPLICANTS SHOULD NOTE:

Bootcamp session will hold THREE TIMES A WEEK THOUGHOUT THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER 2021. Each session will last THREE HOURS on TUESDAYS, THURDAYS & SATURDAYS. AS SUCH ALL POTENTIAL PARTCIPANTS MUST BE BASED IN BUEA DURING THE DURATION OF THE PROGRAM! Slots are available for only 20 participants selected on a very competitive basis. 

The program is absolutely FREE.

HOWEVER, MISSING MORE THAN ONE SESSION WILL LOSE YOUR SLOT AND ACCESS TO RESOURCES.

Eligibility: Cameroonian youth (18-35) based in Buea during the month of September 2021.
