Job Role Summary

• Responsible for coordinating field activities relating to Safety, Health, Emergency Preparedness and Response, Environmental Management and Regulatory Compliance.
• Coordinates field implementation of new ‘best practices’ relating to Safety, Health, Emergency Preparedness and Response, Environmental Management and Regulatory Compliance.
• Serves as a cold eye reviewer of the effective field implementation of the Operations Integrity Management System, provides input during the annual planning cycle (SHE plans and Safe Start processes); and updates relevant documentation integrating lessons learned from oil & gas industry and new technologies.
• This is a field rotational assignment.

Expected Level of Proficiency

• The candidate must have a First degree in Science or Engineering discipline (BAC+3/4) or higher within relevant area.
• Must be able to speak English and French, with the ability to communicate in English and French over the phone and via email.
• NEBOSH / OSHA diplomat is an added advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

• Good risk management and problem solving skills and ability to adapt to changing challenges
• Ability to communicate and work with others at all organizational levels
• Ability to work with limited supervision and a good self-starter
• Willing to work on rotation at COTCO field sites and motivated to grow in the SHE function
