ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT OF THE NATIONAL OFFICE

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Project Coordinator, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for:
  • Assist the Managing Director in administrative management and the management of internal and external relations;
  • Ensure the sorting, examination, and classification of documents, the transmission of mail ("arrival" and "departure");
  • Prepare the minutes of internal and external meetings;
  • Contribute to the capitalization of project experiences;
  • Provide technical support in the preparation of the terms of reference for calls for tenders provided for in the planning;
  • Participate in the drafting of final reports for the end of the service,
  • Ensure internal and external communication of the project: telephone, fax, e-mail, reception of visitors;
  • Update the agenda, the management of appointments, the organization of meetings, and the travel management of the Coordinator of the Project ;
  • Manage events, exhibitions, training workshops, seminars, etc…;
  • Perform any other task assigned by the hierarchy.
DESIRED PROFILE
  • Be of Cameroonian nationality;
  • A BTS in office automation or graduate from higher education with additional training in office automation will be a plus to your skills
  • Have a professional experience of at least one (1) year in a similar position;
  • Previous experience in a renowned private structure, in the parapublic sector or projects financed by Donors, would be an asset
  • Mastering Word and Excel software, content writing and creation, basic design skills with canvas, good interpersonal skills and mastery of telecommunication instruments (fax, photocopier, Internet), etc. ;
  • Be able to work under pressure;
  • Have a good ability to organize workshops, seminars,s, and teamwork;
  • Have a perfect command of French or English.
DURATION OF THE MISSION: 1 year renewable. If successful in this position, the contract may be renewed.
