University of Lausanne Master Scholarships in Switzerland

The University of Lausanne (UNIL) scholarships program is now open for application for the 2022-2023 academic year.

The University of Lausanne scholarships are excellence scholarships intended exclusively for students who have graduated from a foreign university and whose academic performance is of the highest level.

The University of Lausanne is currently ranked within the global top 150 of the QS World University Rankings. UNIL has close to 16,000 students, of which around one in four comes from abroad. It also has a strong international atmosphere in its faculty members, with almost one in two coming from outside Switzerland.

  • The scholarship is awarded for the regulatory period of the program chosen by the student.
  • It amounts to CHF 1,600 per month ($1,740), from September 15 to July 15 (i.e. 10 months per year), for the full duration of the Master’s degree (1.5 or 2 years depending on the Master’s degree chosen). Students selected for a scholarship will be exempt from course fees.
Eligibility for the University of Lausanne scholarships
