Job Title : TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Department : HUMAN RESOURCES
Reporting Line : HR TEAM LEAD
Location : HEAD OFFICE

Job Objectives
  • Provide functional and administrative support for the execution of all e-learning interventions and induction programmes
  • Develop and maintain social action policy as motivation and reward support for high-performance employees
  • To assist in the implementation of all career development initiatives aimed at developing staff in line with individual and corporate objectives.
  • Monitoring and implementation of disciplinary sanctions
Role and Responsibilities

1. E-LEARNING

  • Coordinate the implementation of Training plans and programs in order to improve the competence and efficiency of the bank's staff.
  • Create and animate the service of training and development
  • Preparation of session plans for all training: competency assessment records, attendance records, course timetables, course session plans, course/trainer notes and resources for all accredited training programs
  • Provide all advice in the context of training and development within the bank
  • Manages content, assigning of roles and courses etc… on the Learning Management System – e-Learning
  • Maintain staff training history records
  • Maintain proper training documentation & filing
2. INDUCTION
  • Organize and coordinate all induction programmes for new hires
  • Liaise with facilitators to ensure their availability on assigned training dates
  • Administer and evaluate feedback forms
  • Prepare and send feedback reports to facilitators
  • Process payment of accommodation and transportation allowance for trainees where applicable
  • Ensure that all training facilities are in good condition
  • Maintain and manage induction database
3. Development
  • Write the HCM Digest and send in same for review with Head Talent Management
  • Ensure timely publication of the HCM Digest. 1st working day of every month
  • Update the staff database regularly with the approved changes (Divisional, Department and Unit - Exits, Redeployment and New Hires )
  • Validate the staff database regularly with a list of active staff.
  • Deploy JDs to appropriate managers and for further redeployment to jobholders
  • Provide existing Job Descriptions for Units that make a request
  • Update the database for current and new job descriptions for all Management approved jobs in business directorates
  • Archive all letters (promotion, void, appointments, etc) in hard backfile
  • Ensure the implementation of disciplinary actions (DC reporting - Preparation of sanction and follow-up the implementation)
  • KPIs
Timeliness in performing all assigned tasks
  • Timely and accurate Notification/Reminders sent
  • Level of integrity of the data in the e-learning
  • Timely and accurate deployment/upload of course, assessments and evaluation forms on the LMS
  • Timely rendition of course feedback – Not later than 1-week post-course
  • Training monitoring ration monthly and yearly
  • Quality of reports generated
  • Customer Satisfaction Index
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum education level –Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or in any social sciences related discipline
EXPERIENCE


Work experience requirements 3 -7 years’ work experience
