Description

Job Summary

• Responsible for the Proper operation of the substation.
• Monitor the operations of the substation to ensure its functionality and output are stable.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Adjust controls to regulate the flow of power to the plant.
• Control generator output to match the phase, frequency and voltage of electricity supplied to panels.
• Monitor and inspect substation equipment and indicators to detect evidence of operating problems.
• Co-ordinate with power supplier ENEO on daily basis regarding any power issues.
• Maintain system logs or manuals to document testing or operation of equipment.
• Maintain the clean lines of all areas of the plant and control room.
• Ensure safety of personnel and equipment.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Engineer

Requirements

• Academic / Professional Qualifications
• Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Work Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Very good oral and written communication.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
