Summary:

The work schedule for this position is:

Duties

The position is under the direct supervision of the Property Management Supervisor and the general supervision of the General Services Officer. Incumbent is primarily responsible for the safeguarding and accountability of all USG property. This includes managing and maintaining data gathering, and data input of over nine million dollar non expendable and expendable property for the State Department and serviced agencies at post in the Integrated Logistics Management Systems (ILMS). The position provides work guidance to thirteen warehouse staff assisting with physical inventory and disposal/transfer of property. Incumbent maintains the integrity and accuracy of the Asset Management database in ILMS, prepares inventory reports and reconciles inventory results.

Qualifications and Evaluations Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: At least two years of administrative experience, at least one year of which should have been in computer data input or other keyboard with monitor operation is required, in an international organization or a large local institution of 50 or more employees is required.Education Requirements:

Completion of Secondary School is required.
Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: Good working knowledge (reading, speaking and writing) of English and basic knowledge (speaking/reading) of French is required. This may be tested.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have good computer skills and demonstrate this by having an understanding of at least one database program. Must have demonstrated ability to use the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Must be able to use and manipulate online scheduling and tasking tools. Must be able to operate the keyboard data input machines at level II typing speed (at least 40 words per minute). Must have good arithmetic skills and exercise patience and tact in dealing with mission personnel during inventories. Must be able to develop own work plan and calendar with a two-month time horizon. Must be able to lead small teams on projects of finite length. Must have demonstrated skills working independently without constant direct supervision. Must have good interpersonal skills.
