Position: Network Engineer

Key duties:

• Network design & infrastructure delivery
• Distribution network solutions design & assurance
• Validate technical requirement assessment of platforms
• Implementation of Core Transport Networks nodes & Point of Presence (POP)
• Core Transport Networks Maintenance
• Engineering & business support for sales, engineering & product development (Videos & networks)
• Create high quality documentation & reports for team members & cross functional teams
• Manage allocated sites, hardware upgrades & capacity planning
• Effectively interact with all stakeholders in the infrastructure & service delivery process
• Educational qualification:
• Bachelor Degree in Electronics/Engineering/IT
• Cisco Certified at the professional level is a bonus

Work experience & skills required:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in IP networking & fine knowhow of LAN / WAN technologies
• Mastery of network architecture & design, OSPF, MPLS,RSVP & multicast VPN & BGP
• Mastery of authentication protocols: TACAS, RADIUS & LDAP, DNS & DHCP servers & services
