Main Mission

The Business Intelligence Analyst Developer shall participate in the harmonization of strategic and operational performance indicators, reports and trend charts. He/she shall ensure that these items are made available to the stakeholders and users of the decision-making system and shall ensure that the operational and strategic performance indicators are aligned in the reports, while respecting the standards and procedures in force.

Main Activities and Tasks

  • Ensure the production of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Results Indicators (KRI) for the units;
  • Perform reporting and analysis of data and performance indicators in Power BI;
  • Automate trend charts, reports on metrics and performance indicators for use by the various stakeholders in the company's decision-making system (top management, intermediate and direct managers, controllers, heads of reporting for commercial units, distribution, internal control, strategic planning, and the finance department, etc.);
  • Participate in the implementation of a data warehouse for the operational activities of the electrical energy commercial and distribution business (data marts for the production of operating reports);
  • Participate in the production of monthly and annual activity reports on the KPIs;
  • Ensure data historization;
  • Responding to various requests to provide reports to other units using the BI system;
Profile
  • Age: 35 years maximum;
  • GCE A level + 4 or equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics or related fields;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the areas of business intelligence (data-informed decision-making).
Technical Skills
  • Good mastery of programming techniques / SQL and ETL queries,
  • Good understanding of data mining;
  • Good mastery of data analysis and manipulation;
  • Good knowledge of information presentation models (tables, pivot tables, graphs);
  • Good command of algorithms and statistics (regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modelling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks);
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI; SAS; Pentaho, SQL Development
  • Good command of database queries (Oracle, MS SQL Server, My SQL), SQL regular expressions and stored procedures;
  • Good mastery of Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio);
  • Good command of Windows and Linux operating systems;
  • Good understanding of programming languages such as: Python, R, Java or C#.
