TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time or Part Time
Duties/Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and distribute patient’s medications.
- Perform calculations.
- Collect accurate patient’s information.
- Screen prescription order for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare prescription, retrieve, count, pour, weight measure and sometimes mix the medications.
- Perform medication reconciliation.
- Order new clinic stocks and supplies, collect and store them appropriately in the pharmacy and distribute to various departments.
- Deliver prescribed and over-the-counter drugs to clients in accordance with SCC’s standard procedures and policies
- Use technology to help maintain accurate patient’s record.
- Keep track of pharmacy inventory.
- Cameroon nationality
- A degree in Pharmacy.
- Work experience of three months and above, experience working with the Cameroonian health system is an asset
- Age 23-35years
- Written and spoken Languages: English and/or French, Pidgin will be an asset.
- Lives in Buea or ready to relocate to Buea
- Expertise in medication and drug distribution
- Provide patient-centered care and professional relationship, privacy of information
- Excellent organizational and management skills
- Communicate effectively with Clients, pharmacy team and other professionals
