JOB TITLE: Pharmacy Technician

LOCAON: Buea, Cameroon

TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time or Part Time

Duties/Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and distribute patient’s medications.
• Perform calculations.
• Collect accurate patient’s information.
• Screen prescription order for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare prescription, retrieve, count, pour, weight measure and sometimes mix the medications.
• Perform medication reconciliation.
• Order new clinic stocks and supplies, collect and store them appropriately in the pharmacy and distribute to various departments.
• Deliver prescribed and over-the-counter drugs to clients in accordance with SCC’s standard procedures and policies
• Use technology to help maintain accurate patient’s record.
• Keep track of pharmacy inventory.

Minimum qualification

• Cameroon nationality
• A degree in Pharmacy.
• Work experience of three months and above, experience working with the Cameroonian health system is an asset
• Age 23-35years
• Written and spoken Languages: English and/or French, Pidgin will be an asset.
• Lives in Buea or ready to relocate to Buea
