Job announcement: Architect

TRUVOK is looking for an English speaking Architect. Being registered in the National Order is an added advantage. You will create designs for new construction projects, alterations and the redevelopment of existing projects. You will use your particular construction knowledge and high-level drafting skills to design buildings that are functional, safe, sustainable and aesthetic.

Architects remain involved throughout the construction process, adapting their plans according to budgetary constraints, environmental factors and client needs. This means they are part of the overall project design team, working closely with a range of construction professionals.

Missions / Responsabilité / Activités

• Participate in the creation of highly detailed building designs and drawings using special computer aided applications.
• Discuss with construction professionals on the feasibility of potential projects.
• Consideration of constraints such as planning legislation, environmental impacts and project budgets.
• Work closely with a team of other professionals such as project managers and civil engineers.
• Adapt plans according to circumstances and solve problems that may arise during construction.
• Specify the requirements for each project.
• Visualization of construction sites, proposed locations and customer meetings.

Profil / Compétences /Exigences

• Have extensive experience in a similar position
• Being registered in the national order is an added advantage
• Degree in architectural design or similar qualification.
• Excellent design and writing skills
• Proficiency in computer-aided applications
• Creativity.
• A keen eye for detail as well as seeing the big picture of a project
• An analytical mind with excellent problem solving and math skills.
• Leadership skills and the ability to work well within a team of other professionals
