You believe you have the educational background and professional experience to elevate the organization to the highest international standards? CAF is looking to recruit a Senior Manager - Guest Relations Team Lead.

  • Lead and manage the Guest Relations team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
  • Provide Guest Management support to all CAF events.
  • Develop and implement protocol guidelines and procedures to ensure smooth operations during CAF events and activities.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute all protocol-related aspects of CAF programs, including meetings, conferences, and official events.
  • Oversee the management of VIPs, including travel arrangements, accommodations, and hospitality services.
  • Maintain strong relationships with government officials, diplomatic representatives, and other key stakeholders to facilitate successful protocol arrangements.
  • Stay up to date with international protocol practices and trends, ensuring compliance with relevant protocol and etiquette standards.
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Provide protocol-related advice and support to CAF leadership and staff as needed.

Requirements (profile)
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., International Relations, Hospitality Management, Political Science).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in guest management, preferably in an international sports organization, an inter-governmental organization or diplomatic setting.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams.
  • Proven track record of successful events (100 events).
  • Proven track record of major events (1000 attendees).
  • Excellent knowledge of protocol practices, etiquette, and cultural sensitivities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluent in both English & French spoken and written, command of the Arabic is an advantage.
  • Interest in football is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Team, Zoom, Excel, Outlook, and Mail merge is required.
  • Committed to quality and results.
  • Good communicator and able to explain the view of the department.
