Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Legal & Tax Consultant located in Douala. The consultant will be responsible for providing legal and tax advice to clients, analyzing legal and tax implications of business transactions and investments, developing effective tax planning strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The consultant will also prepare and review legal and tax documents, negotiate contracts, supervise legal and tax staff, and provide training on legal and tax issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in legal and tax consulting
- Experience in corporate and commercial law, tax law, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and priorities, and meet deadlines
- Fluency in English and French is required
