Role Purpose
- The Child Protection Case Management Officer (CPCMO) will provide technical leadership and strategic oversight to the case management team under the Barry Callebaut Project. Reporting to the Head of Programmes and operating under the overall guidance of the Country Director, the CPCMO will ensure compliance with global child protection standards and enhance the quality and impact of child protection interventions through capacity building, monitoring, and coordination.
1. Technical Leadership and Quality AssuranceEnsure alignment of Child Rights Monitoring and Reporting Systems (CRMRS) with global case management standards.
Develop/adapt case management tools: SOPs, assessment forms, data protection protocols.
Provide guidance on complex cases, ensuring child safeguarding and ethical practice.
2. Capacity Building and Staff SupervisionDesign and deliver training for caseworkers and implementing partners.
Supervise and mentor caseworkers, offering feedback and performance reviews.
Identify professional development needs and promote staff growth.
3. Monitoring, Evaluation, and ReportingMaintain and strengthen the case management information system.
Monitor case activities for quality assurance and compliance.
Prepare regular analytical reports on outcomes, trends, and challenges.
4. Coordination and RepresentationStrengthen referral pathways and coordinate service delivery with stakeholders.
Represent Street Child in relevant child protection forums and working groups.
Advocate for child protection issues at regional and national levels.
Requirements
- EssentialBachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of child protection case management experience.
- Proven skills in training and supervising child protection staff.
- Strong understanding of child rights and protection standards (CPMS, inter-agency guidelines).
- Fluency in French and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software.
- DesirableMaster’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working within the Cameroonian context (East, Centre, South, Littoral, etc.).
- Familiarity with CPIMS+ or other case management systems.

Under the overall responsibility of the Country Director, with oversight from the Head of Programmes and under the direct supervision of the MEAL Programme officer, the Child Protection Data Clerk will play a vital role in supporting the case management team by ensuring accurate and timely data entry into the Child Rights Monitoring and Reporting System (CRMRS). The Data Clerk will be responsible for maintaining data integrity, confidentiality, and supporting the overall effectiveness of child protection interventions.

- Update and maintain electronic and paper-based case files.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of data tracking systems.
- Conduct regular data audits to identify and correct errors.
- Collaborate with caseworkers to verify and validate case information.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality protocols.
- Generate routine and ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of statistical summaries and data visualizations.
- Maintain organized records of data reports and related documentation.
- Provide training and support to case management staff on data entry procedures.
- Stay updated on CRMRS functionalities and updates.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
