Description
Define, in collaboration with the HRD, the talent acquisition and overall talent management policy at OCM and ensure its operational and proactive implementation by the team.
Develop and ensure the policy on talent identification and attraction is up to date.
Define, in collaboration with the HRD, the sourcing methods and entry criteria for candidates.
- Promote the employer brand to external partners (recruitment agencies, workforce placement agencies & schools).
- Anticipate the company’s future needs by ensuring the availability of a functional and updated pool of potential recruits.
- Ensure updates on forecasts in terms of workforce, jobs, and skills to be acquired.
- Ensure the existence and regular updating of succession plans for sensitive positions.
- Ensure the availability of internal and external talent pools for successors in sensitive positions.
- Guarantee the reliability of information shared on social media used for job postings at Orange Cameroon.
- Ensure the timely placement of staff within client entities.
- Guarantee the integrity and compliance of recruitment processes carried out within Orange Cameroon.
- Supervise end-to-end all recruitment campaigns.
- Ensure feedback is provided to all candidates involved in recruitment processes, both internal and external.
- Oversee the performance of external service providers and ensure compliance with contractual terms regarding recruitment, staffing, and internship partnerships.
- Lead discussions on expanding partnerships for internships and sourcing services.
- Lead discussions on expanding partnerships with the National Employment Fund for sourcing services for commercial front-line roles.
- Define, in collaboration with the HRD, the global onboarding policy for new hires (temporary & permanent) and supervise related actions.
- Develop and ensure implementation of the integration policy (process) for all new hires (interns, temporary, permanent) within Orange Cameroon.
- Ensure smooth integration of new hires within their respective entities.
- Utilize surprise reports, surveys, and assessment interviews to define necessary improvements in current processes.
- Ensure all support activities related to HR policies and solutions to be implemented across company entities.
- Ensure the maintenance of relations and sharing of HR process-related information across various entities.
- Guarantee continuous improvement and innovation in implemented processes.
- Drive the implementation of the global HR strategy across Business Units in alignment with strategic business directions.
- Participate in Business reviews of different entities to ensure efficient support towards achieving their objectives.
- Propose solutions to improve and maintain optimal "internal client" experience within OCM entities.
- Build strategic partnerships with Top Management to foster better understanding and promotion of company values.
- Support entities in various initiated transformation processes.
- Coordinate and control the existence of job descriptions for every position in the company.
- Monitor probation periods of newly recruited staff.
- Ensure each entity maintains and respects a staff leave schedule.
- Contribute positively to company satisfaction and recommendation indicators.
- Ensure every deployed activity brings real added value to OCM’s business.
- Collaborate with specialists to develop deployment, monitoring, and evaluation strategies for HR processes and plans (Talent, Training, Careers, Mobility, Workplace Quality of Life, Health, etc.) within Business Units.
- Ensure alignment of implemented plans with set objectives and required standards.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of strategies and practices related to Human Resource management.
- Foster a culture of HR process and action audits.
- Support entity Managers with conflict management, performance issues, and other HR topics.
- Promote a strong performance management culture within entities.
- Guarantee and promote an engagement culture within supervised entities.
- Contribute to maintaining a productive and socially healthy work environment.
- Ensure HRBP representation of the Human Resources Directorate in the Business forums of different entities.
- Guarantee HR service quality.
- Ensure commitments made by your division to internal and external clients are met.
- Define specific SLAs for each activity in your division.
- Regularly assess internal client satisfaction via surveys or other relevant tools.
- Report information/anomalies to hierarchy.
- Ensure a quality "candidate" and "employee" experience.
- Effectively supervise your team.
- Organize and manage HRBP activities.
- Facilitate knowledge, experience, and best practice sharing within your department.
- Ensure the professional and personal development of team members.
Qualifications
Required education: GCE Avanced Level + 4/5 in Human Resource Management / Management
Minimum experience: 5 years in the HR field
