RECRUITMENT NOTICE
Project Title: KOREAN EMBASSY FUNDED FOOD SECURITY PROJECTS (KEFFS)

Number of Enumerators: 50

I. CONTEXT
GOOD NEIGHBORS CAMEROON (GNCMR) is an International Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) under South Korean law, operating in the Republic of Cameroon since 2014 in the fields of development and humanitarian aid. (GNCMR) is implementing the above-mentioned project in the localities of Katoual, Mokolo, Tokombéré, Logone-Birni, and Maroua 1st through funding from the Embassy of South Korea in Cameroon. This project aims to strengthen the productive capacity of small producers by supporting climate-resilient agricultural, pastoral, and fishing practices as well as improving post-harvest loss management and enhancing market access. For its operations in the Far North Region, GNCMR is locally seeking 50 experienced enumerators in field data collection.
II. EXPECTED SERVICES FROM ENUMERATORS
- The following services are expected from the enumerators:
- Raise awareness among beneficiaries about the objectives of the survey for which they are responsible
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data from households and targeted individuals using the Kobocollect software
- Submit collected data to their direct supervisor (Field Officer) at the end of each day
- Report any anomalies or difficulties observed during the course of the survey
- Comply with GNCMR's policies and commitments regarding Accountability, Safeguarding, and Security
- The candidate must hold a Baccalaureate (all series accepted) and possess a smartphone.
- Proven experience in techniques for collecting quantitative and qualitative data (at least two data collections using Kobocollect, ODK, or any other data collection software)
- Fluency in French and at least one local language spoken in the intervention areas (Fulfulde, Chadian Arabic, Kotoko, Kanouri, Guiziga, Mafa, Moufou, Mada, Musgum, etc.)
V. APPLICATION PACKAGE
The application file should include:
- A cover letter mentioning the chosen locality
- A duly signed CV (including at least 2 references)
- A photocopy of the diploma
- Proof of previous survey experience (at least two certificates)
HOWW TO APPLY?
The application package must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing only the mention of the position applied for (“Enumerators_ Maroua/selected area,” e.g., “Enumerators_ Maroua/ Logone-Birni”).

VI. RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE
- Candidate selection will be based on the evaluation of the application file followed by an oral interview (if necessary).
- Selected candidates will undergo a two-day training before the surveys begin.
