Job Description: Procurement and Logistics Intern.

Reports to: Procurement and logistics officer
Location: Yaounde, Cameroon
About the Role
The procurement and logistics intern will assist the procurement and logistics
team to do all office purchases, get quotes, and update all the sheets
assigned to him/her by his/her supervisors.
What We Do
We are a food storage, processing, and distribution company that sources
products from smallholder farmers, whom we support during the season with
input loans and training, so that they can be more productive. We transform
our farmers' grain into standardized, consumer products that we sell
worldwide, to buyers who can be sure of the quality they receive.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Carrying out all procurement administrative filings
- Create approved vendor sheet for specific (and frequent) purchases
- Filling of the procurement overview sheet and other sheets if required
- Coordinate corn collection from the field.
Qualification:
- Has a Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a related field
- Willing to learn and grow in a professional environment.
Skills required:
- Has a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google drive applications
- Team worker who pays attention to details and is goal oriented
- Efficient in oral and written communication
- Respectful, humble and ready to learn
- Fluent in English and can communicate in French
