We are looking for lawyers for our offices in Douala, Lagos and Abidjan.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Lawyer (Business and Corporate Law) to provide legal support to the firm's clients, draft legal documents, conduct research, and assist with contract negotiation and review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Private Law or higher in Law
- Working knowledge of OHADA Uniform Acts and local laws and regulations
- Ready to adapt to different legal systems
- Proactivity and ability to take initiativeMust be self-motivated and capable of starting and leading projects from conception to completion
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Strong understanding of Business, Corporate and Finance Law
- Demonstrated experience drafting legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and memos
- Experience with contract review and negotiation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken
- Bar Admission in Cameroon or Nigeria or Cote d'Ivoire
- 2 years of significant professional experience in a Law firm or institution
