With this objective in mind, we are currently searching for a talented and adaptable individual to assume the role of the Data Analyst who will be responsible for overseeing our data systems and reporting frameworks, guaranteeing the integrity and precision of data. The candidate will be in charge of collecting and analyzing data across the business to make informed decisions or assist other team members and leadership in making sound decisions. This ideal candidate shall report to the Director of Strategic Projects.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases
  • Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques
  • Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
  • Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
  • Helping develops reports and analyses.
  • Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
Requirements
Education Level:
  • Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into nontechnical, lay terms.
  • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
  • Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
