One click to open all doors. Open Doors is a Russian Scholarship Project, a chance for tuition-free studying and a research career in Russia across all academic fields.
Winners are granted free early admission at any Russian university, without entrance examinations, with tuition fees and a monthly stipend covered by the Russian Federation.
This is the eleventh edition of the Open Doors Russia Scholarship project, run in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

How to apply for the Open Doors Russian Government Scholarship 2027
Step-by-step application process for the Open Doors Bachelor's, Master's, PhD and Post-Doctoral tracks:
- Register by creating an account
- Fill in your portfolio and take the entrance test available in your account. Attach all important documents such as papers, certificates and awards to increase your chances of selection
- Note that you cannot edit the portfolio after the deadline
- After the portfolio results are announced, winners will be invited to solve the second stage
- After the second stage evaluation and interview, winners will be selected to study for free in Russia
If your top priority university does not offer the study program of your choice, your application will be transferred to the next university on your priority list. When registering for participation, you can choose 1 to 6 universities.
