CONTEXT

The Cameroonian Cultural Network (CCN) is a platform that aims to increase the mobility of artistic productions throughout Cameroon. To do this, it relies on cultural operators and helps to strengthen them. Launched in 2022 by eight Cameroonian and European partners (Spanish Embassy in Cameroon, CIPCA, CLAC, European Union Delegation in Cameroon, Goethe Institut, Institut Français du Cameroun, Kiki Entertainment, OTHNI laboratoire de théâtre de Yaoundé), the CCN's mission is to establish a solid Cameroonian network for artists and cultural operators, to tour artistic productions and to provide a capacity-building programme for the associated infrastructures. Since 2022, the CCN has organised 90 performances during tours of 20 artistic productions in various disciplines (dance, theatre, visual arts, music, slam) in 9 different towns in Cameroon. These high-quality productions, selected by arts and culture professionals, offer alternative visions and are innovative impulses for Cameroon's growing civil society. In 2025, the CCN continues to be a sustainable initiative in the development of cultural and creative industries in Cameroon. Following a call for applications for artistic projects, a multidisciplinary jury will select 10 artists or artistic groups who will each benefit from a tour of 3 to 4 dates in associated cultural spaces in 10 Cameroonian towns.
