  • Have a strong academic record.
  • Commit to returning home after studies to contribute to STEM teaching, entrepreneurship, or policy.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills, outreach, and advocacy for women in STEM.

Varies yearly — typically awarded to dozens of women globally (over 860 past fellows from 90+ countries).

  • Up to $50,000 per year for PhD candidates

How Long Will the Award Last?


Annual renewal (subject to satisfactory progress) until completion of PhD or Postdoctoral program.
