The Goethe-Institut Cameroon is looking for a project coordinator
(m/f/d) on a fee basis to supervise the pre-integration project in Cameroon
from March 1st, 2024 for a limited period until June 30th, 2025, if necessary
with the option of an extension until maximum until February 28, 2028.
The Goethe-Institut eV is a federal intermediary organization whose
goals are to promote knowledge of the German language abroad, to maintain
international cultural cooperation and to convey a comprehensive image of
Germany through information about the cultural, social and political lives
are.
THE DUTIES INCLUDE
- Conception of virtual and physical information and learning offers on “living and working in Germany” and their implementation
- Conception and management of seminars and consulting services
- Organization of events, seminars and offers for the target group
- Budget management, including monitoring, controlling and billing
- Communication with project partners as well as the local and international network
- Public relations, including creation of information and advertising materials, social media, website
- Project documentation and reporting general office work and minor translations
We expect from you
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with the Goethe-Institut’s planning and control instruments
- Very good social and intercultural skills
- Willingness to work in a team
- Flexibility and resilience, willingness to travel
The compensation is 1,095,448 FCFA per month
Examination of suitability
- The suitability of the bidders will be assessed based on the following mandatory suitability criteria:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Knowledge of German at C1 level as well as very good knowledge of French and English
- Award criteria for determining the most economical offer
- The most economical offer from suitable bidders is determined taking into account the following evaluation criteria with specified weighting: several years of teaching experience of at least 5 years as well as experience in extracurricular training and in seminar management (30%)
- Basic experience in the conception and coordination of projects (30%)
- Very good language skills in at least one official language in Cameroon, French and/or English (15%)
- Good digital competence – experience in the methodical conception and implementation of digital seminars and meetings (15%)
- Cultural area experiences in Cameroon and Germany (10%), including through stays or professional experiences in and/or with the countries
