The Human Resources team partners with all aspects of the organization, driving success through the effective and innovative management of people for both current and future business needs.

Key roles that the Human Resources team performs:
  • Executive Role: Specialists in all aspects of people management. High-level input at a strategic level into all key business decisions.
  • Audit Role: Ensures all areas of the organization are compliant with legal requirements AND best practice employment policies and procedures.
  • Facilitator Role: Close partnership to support, advise and extend the ability of all areas of the organization to meet their objectives through the implementation of highly effective employment practices in areas such as Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Reward systems, Performance Management, Health and Wellbeing.
  • Consultancy Role: Provide expert advice to the organization and it’s managers on any aspect of workforce management and employee relations and performance.
  • Service Role: Ensure the organization is fully aware of and is equipped to deal with developments impacting employment matters, such as changes in legislation, changes in the characteristics of the labor market.

Operational Delivery
  • Cross check revenue per revenue stream and unearned revenue calculation.
  • Foster compliance of products and services business rules comply with revenue assurance principles and generate report
  • Follow up revenue trends per revenue stream, investigate on high variances and inform relevant authorities where performance falls below the specified standard.
  • Highlight revenue enhancement or cost saving opportunities identified in the revenue cycle, within the operation.
  • Prepare reconciliations and generate report as per RAFM Risk Control Catalogue.
  • Identify and quantify revenue leakages and fraud root causes and make recommendations on correction and eradication and report to RAFM manager.
  • Prepare testing for new products and services, network nodes implementation, migration and upgrade.
  • Prepare revenue assurance monthly report per control
  • Implementation and execution of current and future recommendations of the RAFM MTN Group
  • Control risk Catalogue
  • Improvement projects
  • Detailed investigation, analysis and or audit of identified exceptions – determining the root causes
  • Implementation and execution of Revenue Assurance and fraud management Tools and work steps including
  • Data extraction and analysis using Computer Assisted Audit Techniques e.g. using Microsoft Access or ACL
  • Coordinate and Support data interface of RAFM systems
  • Detailed investigation, analysis and or audit of identified exceptions – determining the root cause
  • Communication with other functional groups
  • Creation and execution of the corrective actions required for problems identified.
  • Contribute to improve RAFM maturity level of the organization through strengthening core capabilities in both primary and secondary controls
  • Prepare issue log and update it accordingly
  • Contribute to improve profitability through reduction of Revenue Leakage
  • Review input from Junior RA Analyst before final consolidation of RA reports
  • Communicate on revenue assurance and fraud management best practices within the operation
  • Lead Junior RA staff & Temporary on manual testing, MKT UAT and Upgrade
  • 3 years university Degree in Information Technology or Internal Audit or Finance
  • Degree in Telecommunications is an added advantage
  • 3 years in Revenue Assurance analyst responsibilities 1 of which must be from the telecommunication industry
