RESPONSIBILITIES
The Regional Sales Manager will have to manage a sales team and ensure the proper execution of defined sales action plans. This means meeting the
qualitative and quantitative targets set by general management. This job involves a lot of travel, and an often busy schedule.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Routing and diary management:
- Ensures the execution of its work program according to the workload plan defined by sales management and general management.
- Monitor and control sales team schedules.
- Ensure that sales agents meet their targets for visits and customer audits. Ensure that sales agents cover all customers, in line with defined quality targets.
- Translate company objectives into individual sales agent objectives, and communicate them.
- Build action plans by sector, with the agents, to achieve qualitative (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, Shelf-life, Permanence) and quantitative (sales volume) objectives.
- Monitor the achievement of objectives on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, and communicate with teams.
- Hold weekly and monthly meetings with teams.
- Train teams in the field on the standards defined by the company.
- Train teams in customer negotiation.
- Accompany teams on strategic meetings or disputes.
- Monitor the achievements of sales agents (visits made, content of visits, relations with customers, inventory of points of sale).
- Monitor sales agents' activity reports and follow up on files to be processed.
- Regularly monitor the achievement of objectives in relation to sales incentives.
- Monitor compliance with bonus rules.
- Challenge sales staff to achieve their objectives.
- Management of GMS and key account customer relations:
- Manage day-to-day customer relations with key account managers.
- Ensure daily negotiation and administrative follow-up of key account customers.
- Support sales agents, merchandisers and promoters in setting up agreements.
- Monitor the achievement of their volume targets.
- Manage and monitor customer credit levels with the credit department and general management.
- Monitor collections.
- Ensure daily, weekly and monthly reporting on activity.
- Make proposals and recommendations for business development. Company and brand ambassador:
- Proudly represent and defend the interests of the company and brands at all times, wherever they may be.
- Convey a positive image of the brand through irreproachable behaviour.
- Professional experience: 5 years' similar experience
- Minimum Bac + 3 in Commerce, Sales, Marketing or equivalent.
- Driving license B
- Knowledge of the sector (products marketed by the company, customers, competitors)
