Job opportunity : Communication Facilitator

The Goethe-Institut Cameroun is looking for a communications facilitator on a fee basis to facilitate and relay communications to the target audience as part of the ‘Living and Working in Germany’ project in Cameroon from 12 June 2024 for a limited period until 30 June 2025, with an option to extend until 28 February 2028 at the latest.

The Goethe-Institut e.V. is the globally active cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany. It aims to promote knowledge of the German language abroad, to foster international cultural co-operation and to convey a comprehensive image of Germany by providing information on cultural, social, and political life.

Tasks include:

• Creating a communication strategy for the project and implementing it in close collaboration with the ‘Living and Working in Germany’ project co-ordinator.
• Identification and provision of possible distribution locations throughout the country.
• Physical distribution of all advertising material throughout the country, particularly in the towns of Bertoua, Bafoussam, Douala and Yaoundé.
• Digital distribution of all advertising material throughout the country, particularly in the towns of Bertoua, Bafoussam, Douala and Yaoundé.

We expect you to have the following qualities:

• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.

Eligibility

• Tenderers’ eligibility will be assessed based on the following mandatory eligibility criteria:
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in communications and/or marketing

Selection criteria for determining the most economically advantageous tender.
The most economically advantageous offer among the suitable tenderers will be determined based on the following evaluation criteria, with the specified weighting:

• Experience in communications and/or marketing – demonstrated by at least 3 examples of work (40%).
• Pricing (30%).
• Experience in the digital and physical distribution of promotional material throughout the country (30%).

Format and content of the tender:

The tender must contain the following elements:

• Evidence and self-declarations regarding all the above eligibility and selection criteria, including certificates, references, examples of work.
• Covering letter and curriculum vitae
• Financial offer 
• min. 3 examples of work
