Bwo Gallery est à la recherche d’un stagiaire
Community Manager (H/F) pour rejoindre notre équipe à partir d’août
2024.
Bwo Gallery est une galerie d’art contemporain située à Douala
promouvant le travail d’artistes plasticiens internationaux originaires
d’Afrique, à travers une programmation riche incluant des expositions et des
projets hors les murs.
Description du poste Poste
En étroite collaboration avec notre exécutif, le CM sera chargé de la
gestion et de l’animation des réseaux sociaux de la galerie. De ce fait, le
CM jouera un rôle clé en matière dans la communication digitale et la
présence en ligne de Bwo.
Le stagiaire aura pour missions les tâches suivantes :
- Exécuter la stratégie de communication élaborée par l'exécutif
- Développer la visibilité de la galerie sur les réseaux sociaux (Instagram, LinkedIn et Tiktok)
- Assurer une veille sur le web ( être à l’écoute des échos et de la réputation de la société ou de ces services)
- Participer à l’élaboration de la stratégie de communication sur les réseaux sociaux
- Établir et exécuter le planning de communication hebdomadaire et mensuel
- Production de contenus vidéos et photos relatives aux expositions et actualités de la galerie
- Traduction en anglais ou en français du contenu rédactionnel ; - Création et amélioration du référencement (SEO)
- Mise en ligne du contenu éditorial (contenu rédactionnel, newsletter, etc.)
- Modération des commentaires et des contributions des internautes
- Veille technologique pour être à jour sur les nouveaux outils et les nouveaux médias sociaux sur lesquels la structure aura intérêt à se positionner.

Organisation du travail : Temps plein (possibilité de travailler en
hybride)
Date de début : À partir du 16 août 2024
Durée : 3 à 6 mois
Profil recherché
Exigences :
- Bac+ 3 minimum, en marketing, communication, ou journalisme.
- Maîtrise parfaite à l’oral et à l’écrit du français et de l’anglais
- Capacité rédactionnelle
- Aisance relationnelle
- Maîtrise des outils digitaux
- Maîtrise des outils informatiques et notamment du pack office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) - Maîtrise des logiciels de montage de vidéos et de photos tels que (Photoshop, Adobe première, Canva, etc.)

Internship offer: Community Manager
Bwo is a contemporary art gallery based in Douala, promoting the work of
international visual artists of African descent, through a rich program of
gallery exhibitions and off-site projects. We are currently recruiting an
intern to join our team as a Community Manager (M/F) starting from August
2024.
Job description
Position
Working closely with our executive team, the CM will be in charge of
managing and animating the gallery's social networks. As such, the CM will
play a key role in Bwo's digital communications and online presence.
The intern will carry out various tasks which include:
- Implementing the communication strategy developed by the executive team
- Developing the gallery's visibility on social networks (Instagram, LinkedIn and Tiktok)
- Overseeing the company's web presence (listening to feedback and the reputation of the company or its services)
- Elaborating the communication strategy for social networks
- Planning and executing weekly and monthly publications schedules
- Producing video and photo contents related to the gallery's exhibitions and news
- Translating editorial content into English or French
- Creating and improving the SEO
- Uploading editorial content (editorial content, newsletter, etc.)
- Moderating user comments and contributions; and
- Technological survey to keep up-to-date on the new tools and social media on which the structure will have an interest in positioning itself.
Location : Bonapriso, Douala
Work organization : Full-time (hybrid work possible)
Start date: as of August 16, 2024
Period: 3 to 6 months (TBD)
Applicant’s profile Mandatory:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or an equivalent field.
- Excellent oral and writing skills in French and English
- Strong writing skills
- Great relationship skills
- Proficiency in digital tools - Strong knowledge of IT tools, in particular the Office pack (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Excellent understanding of video and photo editing software (Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Canva, etc.)
- Analytical skills
