K HOTEL**** Cameroon is hiring a Laundry Supervisor!
Under the Executive Housekeeper, the Laundry Supervisor's responsibilities
include supervising and training laundry staff, maintaining inventory of
cleaning supplies, and ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene
in accordance with hotel standards.
What you will be doing!
- Supervise and coordinate activities of laundry staff to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity
- Inspect laundry and linens to ensure highest standards of cleanliness and quality
- Maintain inventory and control of all laundry supplies and equipment
- Train new employees in the laundry department
- Implement and maintain health and safety standards in the laundry department
- Handle guest concerns or complaints and provide appropriate solutions
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth running of laundry operations
Job Profile!
- At least 3 years proven work experience as a Laundry Supervisor or similar role in a hotel
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of laundry operations and equipment (knowledge on Girbau equipment is an asset) Strong leadership and training skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- High standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
