KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
- Coordinate nutrition programs and promote nutrition integration principles and best practices.
- Support and collaborate with Programme staff and partners to ensure nutrition integration in school feeding, emergency response, smallholder farmers' support and climate change and resilience activities.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of strategies to promote cross-sectoral collaboration and coordination among different programme areas.
- Provide field-based leadership and technical support and guidance to programme teams, including conducting site visits, training, and capacity-building activities.
- Facilitate regular meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions among programme teams to enhance collaboration and learning.
- Support creation of advocacy materials, including reports, policy briefs, and communication materials.
- Support the food fortification programme in collaboration with other sectors. 8. Support innovative approaches to food and nutrition security including cash transfers.
- Support and strengthen the national nutrition coordination structures by collaborating with nutrition multi-sectoral committee members and relevant stakeholders. 1
- Represent the organization in nutrition coordination meetings and forums. 11. Support the strengthening of national nutrition initiatives, including support for the development of policies and guidelines and platforms related to nutrition.
- Strengthen WFP`s leadership in nutrition and support the SUN Business network to encourage Private sector participation and investment in nutrition.
- Support capacity strengthening of staff for nutrition program efficiency.
- Provide support for operational partnerships, including inter-agency collaboration, to ensure a strong multi-sectorial response to nutrition in both emergency and nonemergency settings.
- Prepare accurate and timely reporting and learning, contributing to a knowledge base that informs the decision-making of WFP and other stakeholders.
- Support the strengthening of SBCC to enhance nutrition outcomes at the individual and household level.
- Support the development of nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive SBCC messages and materials.
- Support to mobilize communities and key influencers to create and support long-term normative shifts towards desired positive health and nutrition behaviors.
- Support active screening, identification, and management of nutrition beneficiaries
- 20. Ensure harmonization and coordination of SBCC and nutrition-sensitive activities across programmes.
- Provide technical advice to country office and field offices on SBCC and nutrition integration programming in emergency situations.
- Provide technical support and lead the conduct of the COHA Study in Cameroon
- Coordinate the National Implementing Team (NIT) and technical working groups to ensure multi-sectoral participation in the conduct of the COHA study. 24. Ensure dissemination of COHA findings at relevant workshops, meetings, and policylevel events.
- Contribute to other Nutrition studies to enrich knowledge in key areas that would enhance WFP’s contribution to vulnerable beneficiaries.
- Ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to human capital development as it directly impacts nutrition, cognitive, health, and overall development and enhances productivity.
- Facilitate collaboration with all relevant partners and sectors on Human Capital development as proper nutrition contributes to overall well-being and can lead to increased productivity.
- Ensure nutrition integration in school feeding, emergency response, smallholder farmers' support, climate change and resilience, and food security to ensure seamless integration of activities.
- Collaborate with the resilience and smallholder farmer section in promoting food and nutrition security and enhanced productivity of smallholder farmers. 30. Facilitate nutrition education in an integrated approach with school feeding, resilience, and smallholder farmer support.
- Support the social protection team to strengthen the advocacy for increased allocation and investment in nutrition. Field Support on program integration.
- Support and coordinate program activities in the field, ensuring efficient execution and alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Organize and lead cross-sectoral programme meetings to foster collaboration and coordination among different sectors or departments at the field level. 34. Liaise with field teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Support monitor program progress in the field and assist in the preparation of program reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the cooperating partner coordinator to strengthen the operational delivery of cooperating partners.
- Contribute and support the integrated targeting of beneficiaries to food and nutrition programmes.
- Conduct field visits to monitor the quality of program implementation and adherence to standards.
- 39. Ensure effective joint monitoring of food and nutrition assistance programs and timely reporting.
- Identify potential risks and challenges in the field and work with the programme.

- Coordinate, lead and supervise PULCCA activities, ensuring they are carried out in accordance with the project plan and objectives.
- Ensure an integrated implementation approach to all the components of the PULCCA.
- Prepare regular reports for donors, stakeholders, and project partners and maintain accurate records and documentation of project activities and outcomes.
- 45. Facilitate engagement with the community to ensure their participation and feedback in project planning and implementation.
- Has deepened technical knowledge through exposure to technical teams.
- Has taken leadership of implementing programmes.
- Has provided input into policy discussions and decisions.
Education: Advanced University degree in International Affairs, Economics, Nutrition/Health, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Social Sciences or other field relevant to international development assistance(3years experience), or First University Degree with additional years(5 years) of related work experience and/or trainings/courses.
Language: Fluency (level C) in English language. Intermediate knowledge (level B) of a second official UN language: Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish, and/or Portuguese (a WFP working language).
