Société Céréales du Cameroun is seeking a highly skilled and
experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the quality assurance
processes within our wheat milling company. The ideal candidate will have
extensive knowledge of formulation, ISO standards, raw material quality
control, in-process quality checks, and finished goods assessment. This role
is crucial for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards
and comply with regulatory requirements.

1. Quality Management System (QMS) Development:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Management System (QMS) Development:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Establish and enforce quality control procedures for incoming raw materials.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality and consistency of wheat and other ingredients.
- Conduct regular audits of suppliers to assess compliance with quality standards.
- Oversee the formulation processes to ensure product specifications are met.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize formulations for quality and efficiency.
- Analyze formulation data to identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards at every stage of milling.
- Implement and manage in-process testing protocols to detect deviations early.
- Train production staff on quality assurance practices and procedures.
- Develop and implement testing protocols for finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and laboratory tests on final products.
- Manage product recalls and investigations in case of quality issues.
- Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities, including test results, audits, and corrective actions.
- Prepare reports on quality metrics and communicate findings to senior management.
- Ensure proper documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct training sessions on quality standards and practices for all staff members.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes related to food safety and quality assurance. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the milling industry.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 22000) and food safety regulations.
- Strong understanding of wheat milling processes and formulation techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
