CONTEXT
About Good Neighbors:
Good Neighbors is an international humanitarian and Development international Korean NGO founded in Seoul in March 1991. It is present in 51 countries around the world and aims to make the world a better, hunger-free place, where people live together in harmony. It focuses on Community development to protect children's rights and encourage community autonomy.
Good Neighbors started its operations in Cameroon since 2014. It has a head Office is in Yaoundé and field Offices in Maroua and Mbalmayo. Good Neighbors Cameroon’s (GNCMR) work is focused on community development, implementing projects in the sectors of Health (control of schistosomiasis and soil transmitted helminthiasis, nutrition), Child Protection, livelihood (Income Generation Activities), food security, Education, Water and Sanitation hygiene and Environment. GNCMR works with different international partners such as the United Nations and INGOs to seek sustainable solutions to development and humanitarian challenges.
RATIONAL
In the past years, Good Neighbors Cameroon has been implementing several projects in the above listed domains. In addition to this, the capacity of staff of various departments has been enhanced in grant writing/fundraising, giving staff the capability of writing diverse projects. Given that a good project background should be backed by baseline data which summarizes the problem and the gaps to be addressed, it is essential for staff to have the ability to capture and analyze data using optimized systems. It is on this basis that this term of reference is developed.
I. OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSIGNMENT
From the above background, Good Neighbors Cameroon is seeking the services of an ODK/KOBOCOLLECT expert Consultant to build the capacity of its staff in relation to data collection and analysis.
The Consultant may decide to work with a collaborator or assistants to facilitate her work (This collaborator or assistant is NOT the responsibility of Good Neighbors Cameroon).
Good Neighbors Cameroon is responsible for
1. Ensuring access to project information required by the Consultant to facilitate their training
2. General logistics including location and refreshment during the training session
3. Ensuring follow-up of the Consultation
II. DESCRIPTION OF THE ASSIGNMENT
The Consultant will train at least twenty (20) GNCMR staff with the skills and knowledge in utilizing the ODK/KOBOCOLLECT.

II. DESCRIPTION OF THE ASSIGNMENT
The Consultant will train at least twenty (20) GNCMR staff with the skills and knowledge in utilizing the ODK/KOBOCOLLECT.
The training session should be interactive, engaging, practical and participatory including hands on exercises, group discussions and real-life examples to ensure that staff apply the skills effectively. The Consultant is also expected to administer pre and post test questionnaires to measure the impact of the training sessions on participants’ knowledge and skills.

III. EXPECTED OUTPUTS
1. Improved staff understanding of the DHIS2 platform
2. Improved staff capacity on DHIS2 data extraction, analysis and interpretation
3. Improved knowledge on how to identify gaps in data input on the DHIS2 platform
IV. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
1. Advanced degree in a relevant field clearly demonstrative a certified expert
2. Previous experience in successfully facilitating ODK/KOBOCOLLECT training sessions with other organizations, preferably INGOs.
3. At least 5 years of proven experience of training in the specific domain.
4. Strong facilitation and communication skills.
5. Ability to facilitate interactive and engaging learning experiences.
6. Fluency in English and French language is required.
7. Experience in evaluating training effectiveness and making improvements as needed.

1. The Consultant is expected to produce the report of the Consultancy no later than one week after the Consultancy
