JOB OFFER - CAMEROON (M/F)- URGENT Architecte Interieur/ Interior Design

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Exécution

• Lead the technical execution of interior fit-out projects, starting with two key projects.
• Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Develop clear work plans, site schedules, and workflows to optimize efficiency.
• Liaise with clients to translate their requirements into feasible execution strategies.

Team Leadership & Skill Transfer

• Train and mentor local site teams in Cameroon, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Develop training programs to upskill employees in modern construction techniques.
• Establish a technical framework to ensure knowledge retention and process standardization.

Technical & Strategic Leadership

• Oversee all technical aspects related to flooring, ceilings, furniture, electricals, and air conditioning.
• Implement and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for execution efficiency.
• Introduce innovative materials, tools, and technologies to improve project delivery.
• Work closely with the CEO to define long-term growth strategies for the business.

Supplier & Procurement Management

• Source high-quality raw materials at competitive prices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure procurement strategies align with project needs and business growth plans.

Administrative & Business Development

• Oversee project budgets, cost control, and financial planning.
• Ensure contract compliance and manage risk mitigation strategies.
• Assist in developing proposals, quotations, and contracts for new business.
• Work with the sales team to ensure technical feasibility of incoming projects.

Job Specification

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Interior Design.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in interior fit-outs, construction, or engineering roles.
• Proven experience leading teams and executing projects from concept to completion.
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), flooring, ceilings, and furniture manufacturing.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate technical details clearly to both clients and execution teams.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant design and planning software.
• Excellent leadership and team-building abilities.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to scale a growing business.
• Proficiency in both French and English is highly preferred.
