REGIONAL DIRECTOR
JOB MISSION
- Define a development action plan for their region by implementing the retail strategy in alignment with the bank’s retail development strategy.
- Organize and coordinate the animation and commercial development in collaboration with Branch Managers. Represent and safeguard BICEC’s interests with third parties.
- Execute the annual budget and achieve the financial and other objectives assigned to the region;
- Decide on the distribution of individual and collective objectives in collaboration with Branch Managers and the Retail Banking Director;
- Develop the customer portfolio and commitments in the region;
- Lead and coach regional and branch teams, identifying individual potential;
- Contribute to the commercial performance of the region;
- Approve/validate credit granting files within their delegation authority;
- Manage risks associated with banking activities in the region (credit risks, operational risks, fraud, etc.);
- Ensure that internal control and risk management systems are mastered and monitored in collaboration with risk and control functions;
- Optimize synergy with other commercial divisions (SMEs and Large Enterprises);
- Directly manage a high-end customer portfolio (Individual Clients) within the region;
- Ensure proper administrative follow-up in the region.
- Higher education degree (BAC+5 minimum) or a banking diploma (ITB);
- Proven experience of at least ten (10) years in team management in one of the following positions:
- Branch Manager (1st category and non-categorized branches),
- Senior Banker,
- Market Manager,
- Credit Risk Manager,
- Debt Recovery Manager,
- Commercial Animation Manager;
- Geographic mobility is appreciated.
- Knowledge of financial analysis, taxation, personal and corporate economics;
- Understanding of financial analysis techniques;
- Familiarity with SYSCOHADA accounting principles;
- General knowledge of banking operations, structures, processes, procedures, and regulations;
- Awareness of the range of products and services offered to customers;
- Mastery of sales and negotiation techniques;
- Expertise in credit file preparation and credit process management;
- Understanding of banking transaction standards and procedures.
- Strong commercial skills (sales, negotiation, persuasion);
- Decision-making ability and risk awareness;
- Managerial skills (defining clear missions, employee development, objective evaluation, organizing and leading meetings);
- Analytical and synthesis skills;
- Integration and commercial networking ability;
- Time management and deadline adherence;
- Ability to seek information and update knowledge.
