
1. Mentorship & Counselling Officer
Location: Yaoundé
Deadline: August 19, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional counselling and guidance to students on academic, personal, social, and career-related matters.
- Develop and implement mentorship programmes that support students' academic and personal development.
- Conduct individual and group counselling sessions while maintaining confidentiality.
- Provide guidance on academic performance, goals, adjustment challenges, and career development (CV preparation, interview skills, employability).
- Organize mentorship workshops, seminars, and student welfare activities.
- Maintain confidential records and make appropriate referrals for specialized clinical support when necessary.
- Collaborate with faculty, Student Affairs, and administrative teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Guidance and Counselling, Social Work, Education, Human Services, or a related field.
- Professional training/certification in counselling, psychotherapy, or mentorship is an added advantage.
- Previous experience in student counselling, mentorship, guidance, or youth development, preferably in higher education.
- High level of integrity, empathy, emotional maturity, and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication, listening, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills.
2. Library Officer
Location: Yaoundé
Deadline: August 19, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the University Library.
- Organize, catalogue, classify, and maintain books, journals, electronic resources, and other library materials.
- Assist students, lecturers, and staff in locating resources and navigating digital databases.
- Manage the borrowing, return, renewal, and tracking of materials while maintaining accurate user records.
- Ensure a clean, quiet, organized, and conducive learning environment.
- Monitor resources to identify items that need acquisition, replacement, or updates.
- Prepare periodic reports on library usage, resources, and activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or professional qualification in Library Science, Information Science, Records Management, or a related field.
- Relevant experience working in a library, preferably within an educational institution.
- Good knowledge of library management systems, digital resources, and computer applications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
3. Logistics Officer – Professional Internship
Location: Yaoundé
Deadline: August 19, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating the movement, storage, procurement, and distribution of goods, supplies, and materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, stock levels, and logistics documentation.
- Receive, inspect, and properly store equipment and supplies.
- Assist in organizing logistics for meetings, events, workshops, and institutional activities.
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers under management guidance.
- Support physical stock checks and inventory reconciliation.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport and Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Recent graduate or young professional looking for practical logistics experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
- Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and detail-oriented skills.
- High degree of professionalism, reliability, integrity, and willingness to learn.
