(04) PROCESS OPERATORS
The Process Operator is responsible for starting all equipment in the auxiliary room (boiler, compressor, chilled water unit, water treatment) and operating the process activities of each production station.
Activities
- Based on production instructions (quantities, rates, quality standards...), he/she must:
- Start the boiler, compressor, chilled water unit, water treatment unit for the production of utilities necessary for production and packaging;
- Operate the production machine, control and monitor the progress of process operations;
- Monitor production rates in real time and react very quickly in case of problems
- Operate the CIP of the process machine and perform its maintenance (cleaning after each production shift);
- Alert the maintenance department in case of a breakdown causing production stoppages;
- Control fixed indicators of temperature, pressure, and flow on the production line and in the auxiliaries, according to predetermined thresholds;
- Produce activity reports of his/her team.
Academic Level:
- BTS/DUT in Industrial Maintenance and Production; Electricity; Electrotechnics; Electromechanics, Agro-food.
- 2 years in the agro-industrial field.
- Experience in a margarine or mayonnaise production plant will be an asset for this position.

- Monitor the functioning of the machine and control devices and adjust in case of deviations;
- Verify the conformity of product packaging (sealing, weight...);
- Detect malfunctions of machines and equipment and carry out simple interventions in case of incidents;
- Fill in packaging monitoring documents;
- Adjust the machines or modify settings (speed, film alignment, configuration...);
- Label the packaged products and check the product references, date, legibility of information...
- Operate the machine’s CIP (if needed) and ensure its maintenance.
Academic Level:
- Scientific or technical Baccalaureate;
- 2 years of professional experience in the agro-industrial field or any activity related to packaging.
- Experience in a margarine or mayonnaise production plant will be an asset for this position.

Activities
- Monitor the quality of raw materials up to the release of finished products; carry out competitive monitoring, sensory analyses;
- Perform physicochemical and microbiological analyses of in-process and finished products;
- Analyze process water, CIP, utilities, and post-treatment discharge;
- Monitor hygiene practices among staff;
- Participate in awareness sessions on sensory analysis expectations;
- Participate in awareness sessions for staff on procedures, GHP/GMP, environmental best practices, and safety measures;
- Identify risk situations related to hygiene, quality, safety, and environment and propose control measures in the work area;
- Assist in investigating causes of problems and handling customer complaints;
- Contribute to the analysis of collected QHSE data to facilitate decision-making;
Academic Level:
- BTS/DUT/Bachelor in Biochemistry, Food Technology; Professional Bachelor's in Laboratory and Analysis/Laboratory Technician, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biological Analysis;
- An internship or job in a margarine or mayonnaise company will be an asset for this position; a Master’s or Professional Bachelor's in Quality, Hygiene, Safety, and Environment would be an advantage;
- Minimum 2 years
