Position: Program Coordinator

Organization: Mountain Hub-Iknite Space Cohort

Location: Buea, Cameroon

Employment Type: Full-Time (6-month contract with the possibility to extend based on the program funding)

Start Date: February 1, 2025

Salary: 100,000XAF/month

About Us

Mountain Hub's Iknite Space Cohort is a transformative training program for designers and software engineers based in Buea, Cameroon. Our mission is to equip recent graduates with the skills, tools, and experiences necessary to succeed in competitive technology fields. Since its inception, the program has supported talented individuals, many of whom face significant barriers in accessing recent technologies and industry growth trajectories. This call is for the launching of Cohort 4 in February 2025, with 10 trainees.

To ensure the program's success, we are seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations and serve as a vital link between trainees, volunteer mentors, and Mountain Hub staff.

Key Responsibilities

Program Administration
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Mountain Hub Iknite Space Cohort training program.
  • Coordinate and maintain the program schedule, ensuring all sessions and activities run smoothly.
  • Manage communication and logistics for online learning platforms and internet access
Trainee Support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for trainees, addressing their concerns and providing guidance throughout the program.
  • Monitor and track trainee progress, ensuring timely submission of assignments and participation in program activities.
