MISSIONS PRINCIPALES

Sous la supervision du Directeur Advisory, vous interviendrez sur:
  • Analyse et modélisation des risques financiers et assurantiels.
  • Conception et tarification de produits financiers et d'investissement.
  • Valorisation des actifs financiers et calcul des pro- visions techniques.
  • Développement d'outils de simulation et d'opti- misation de portefeuille.
  • Veille réglementaire et analyse des normes pru- dentielles.
  • Contribution au développement d'outils numé- riques pour l'analyse actuarielle et financière.
Profil recherché:
  • Bac+5 en actuariat, statistique, finance quantitative ou ma- thématiques appliquées.
  • Maîtrise des outils de modélisation (Excel VBA, Python, R, SAS).
  • Bonne connaissance des produits financiers et assurantiels.
  • Rigueur, esprit analytique et aptitude au travail en équipe.
  • Maîtrise du français; l'anglais est un atout.


Durée et conditions

Stage de 6 mois avec possibilité d'embauche selon performance.
  • Poste basé à Douala.
  • Indemnité de stage compétitive.

TREASURY OFFICER

Reporting line: Head of Treasury and Financial Markets

Number of positions: 01

Main task(s): 
  • He/she contributes to providing operational and analytical support the Treasury and Financial Markets Department in general, and on foreign exchange activities in particular, in order to optimize the Department's performance in revenue generation, customer satisfaction and risk management
Main responsibilities:
  • Participate in the implementation of the Department's strategy;
  • Effectively manage foreign exchange transactions to optimize implementation of foreign exchange regulations;
  • Liaise with internal and external counterparties to achieve foreign excha objectives;
  • Provide support to employees on Treasury products;
  • Develop dashboards for transaction monitoring;
  • Produce reports and other regulatory and internal statements;
  • Monitor transactions with the Central Bank to reduce processing times;
  • Execute pre-financing operations with the Central Bank;
  • Monitor the pricing conditions of banks correspondents
  • Participate in drafting and updating procedures;
  • submit transfer files justifications on E-transfert for clearance;
  • Reconcile correspondent accounts to resolve outstanding balances;
  • Assist in managing complaints;
  • provide training to academic and professional interns;
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Head of Department and the Department Manager.
Required profile:

1. Academic qualifications required:
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or any other field related to economics and management.
2. Professional experience:
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in the banking sector;
  • Experience in digital banking operations will be an added advantage
3. Business skills:
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills;
  • Fluently bilingual: French and English.
4. Cross-functional skills:
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines; Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage change positively.
